Confirm the Details of Your New BC-workspace

Once your BC-workspace request is approved and your new BC-workspace is ready for use, the BRAINCommons™ Team will notify you by email. Next you must confirm your BC-workspace details.

Specifically:

  • The BC-workspace type
  • Your login credentials
  • Account balance

To proceed, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate the path Explore>Tools to the Explore Tools page. Click the WORKSPACE icon.

    The Workspace page is displayed, listing the icons for the BC-workspaces you can access.

  2. Using the BC-workspace ID sent to you by email, locate the icon of your new BC-workspace. Check that the Type matches what you requested (Windows or Linux).

  3. Locate your login credentials.
    1. Click the three-dot menu in the bottom right-hand corner. The Workspace options menu appears.
    2. Select View Credentials, and your login credentials are displayed.
  4. Verify that you can login to your BC-workspace by following the instructions detailed in the Start, Launch, and Stop Your BC-workspace article.
  5. Check your current balance.
    1. Click the three-dot menu in the bottom right-hand corner. The Workspace options menu appears.
    2. Select View Billing & Transaction History, and your account balance is displayed.
    3. Compare the amount quoted in your contract with the Prepaid balance listed. If you detect a discrepancy, email the BRAINCommons Team at BRAINCommons Support.
